List positions

GET /fleet/positions

The latest GPS fix and status of every vehicle that has a GPS tracker. One response holds the whole fleet (not paginated). Data is refreshed about every 12 seconds.

Query parameters

Name	Type	Description
vehicleIds	string	Comma-separated vehicle IDs (max 500).
groupId	string	Only vehicles in this group.
status	string	Comma-separated statuses, for example moving,idle.

Status

Status	Meaning
moving	Speed is 5 km/h or more, or the device reports movement.
idle	Engine on, but speed under 5 km/h.
stopped	Engine off, or speed under 5 km/h when the device doesn't report the engine state.
offline	No fix for more than 2 hours (meta.offlineAfterSeconds). The last known position is still returned.
no_data	The tracker has never reported a position. Position fields are null.

The rules are applied in order, top to bottom: offline and no_data take priority over the rest.

Fields

Field	Type	Description
vehicleId	string	Vehicle ID.
licensePlate	string	Plate.
status	string	See the status table above.
latitude, longitude	number | null	Last fix position.
speedKmh	number | null	Speed at the last fix.
headingDeg	number | null	Direction of travel, 0–359.
ignition	boolean | null	Engine on. null if the device doesn't report it.
lastFix	string | null	Time of the last fix (UTC).
ageSeconds	number | null	Seconds between lastFix and meta.generatedAt.
driverName	string | null	Driver currently assigned.

Get one vehicle's position

A vehicle without a tracker comes back with status no_data. An unknown ID returns 404.
